The wire and cable industry is the second largest industry in China after the automobile industry. The product variety is highly satisfied, and the domestic market share exceeds 90%. With the rapid development of my country's wire and cable industry, the number of new enterprises continues to increase, and the overall technical level of the control cable industry has been greatly improved.

The strong temptation of the Chinese market makes the world pay attention to the Chinese market. In just a few decades of reform and opening up, the huge production capacity formed by China's cable manufacturing industry has left a deep impression on the world. With the continuous expansion of the scale of my country's ships, automobiles, urban rail transit, electric power, data communications and other industries, the demand for wires and cables will also grow rapidly. The wire and cable industry still has great potential for development in the future.

In November 2008, in response to the world financial crisis, the government decided to invest 4 trillion yuan to stimulate domestic demand, of which more than 40% was used for the construction and renovation of urban and rural power grids. The core wire of the control cable is copper core, the nominal cross section is 2.5mm2 and below, 2~61 cores; 4~6mm2, 2~14 cores; 10mm2, 2~10 cores. Operating temperature of control cable: 65°C for rubber insulation, 70°C and 105°C for PVC insulation. Control cables used in computer systems are generally fluoroplastic insulation, cross-linked polyethylene, polyethylene and PVC products.

Precautions for control cable installation and wiring:

1. Under the eaves. Cables should only be used without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme heat. Pipes are recommended. Ultraviolet (UV) - Do not use cables without UV protection in direct sunlight.

2. On the outer wall. Avoid direct sunlight on walls and man-made damage. Hot - Cables in metal conduits or trunking are very hot and many polymeric materials will reduce their useful life at these temperatures.

3. In the pipeline. If in a pipe, watch for damage to plastic pipes and heat transfer from metal pipes. Mechanical damage (repair costs) - Fiber optic cables are very expensive to repair and require at least two terminations per breakpoint.

4. Suspended applications/overhead cables. Consider cable sag and stress. Whether the cable is directly exposed to sunlight.

5. Directly laying in the underground cable trench, minimum control area. The installation of cable trenches should be checked regularly for dryness or moisture. Grounding - If the shield of the control cable needs to be grounded, it must comply with the relevant standards.

6. Underground piping. Auxiliary piping is the best way to facilitate future upgrades, replace cables, and isolate ground pressure from the surrounding environment. But don't expect the pipes to stay dry forever, this will affect the choice of cable type.
